Delores Bryson Loughlin, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Care Center where she had resided the past five years.
The daughter of Fred and Sally (Folkstead) Bryson, she was born in Thermopolis on Aug. 8, 1933. She graduated from Thermopolis High School. On June 13, 1953, she married Delmar Loughlin. To this union was born three sons, Tracy, Zane and Kelly.
A classy lady, she was an active citizen of Thermopolis serving on the Memorial Hospital Board, Canyon Manor Board, and Chamber of Commerce. Delores was a member of Eastern Star and Community Federated Church where she served on the church board as well as organizing funeral dinners. Instrumental in organizing class reunions and the Tour of Homes, she also owned and operated Delores' Decorating. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She is survived by her brother, Mack (Nancy) Bryson of Lincoln City, Ore .; sons, Tracy and Zane (Shelia), all of Thermopolis; daughter-in-law, Laura (Dave) Loughlin Patterson of Thermopolis; grandchildren, Amber (John) Arrington and Brandi (Nolan) Collins; and great-grandchildren, Tori, Christian, Jasmine and Austin.
She was preceded in death by a brother; parents; husband of 53 years; and a son, Kelly.
Funeral services were held, April 4 at Community Federated Church with Rev. Chuck Cooper officiating. Burial followed at Monument Hill Cemetery with graveside services by Eastern Star Vesper Chapter #19.
