The seventh and eighth grade students are busy preparing for the second annual Night at the Living Wax Museum, scheduled for Thursday May 3. But you don’t have to wait another month to see the kids bring to life notable figures in history.
The Hot Springs County Historical Society and the Hot Springs County Pioneer Association will host a dry run of the event on Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at the meeting room of Big Horn Federal.
Over the past few weeks, students have used credible print and online sources to write small biographies about individuals who have made positive contributions to society. While still developing costumes, props and backdrops for the main event in May, they’re eager to shared their memorized, 30-second speeches in this practice run.
