Wrestling club hits two tourneys

Members of the Thermopolis Wrestling Club competed at the Maddyx Fischer Memorial Tournament in Riverton on March 24, with the team taking 11th place in folkstyle and ninth place in freestyle.

Folkstyle results:

In PeeWee, Sawyer Wilson placed fourth in Division 34-35 and Winston Hogue placed second in Division 50-53.

In Novice, Brody Potter placed second in Division 94-100.

Freestyle results:

In PeeWee, Winston Hogue placed second in Division 50-53.

In Novice, Brody Potter placed fourth in Division 93-99.

Members also competed at the 2018 Montana Open on March 24 and 25, placing 25th as a team out of 148.

In 6 & Under, Tucker Sayler placed third in Division 37. In Girls 6 & Under, Brayli Price placed third in Division 46, Briar Lahoe placed fourth in Division 49 and Jesalyn Blair placed second in Division 52.

In Girls 8 & Under, Logann Farrell won Division 58.

In 10 & Under, Lilly Quintanilla placed sixth in Division 53. In Girls 10 & Under, Quintanilla won Division 53. Also in Girls 10 & Under, Kamryn Farrell placed third in Division 77.

In 12 & Under, Roedy Farrell placed second in Division 122.

The club has tournaments in Worland this weekend and in Greybull April 6, with the State tournament in Casper April 13-15.
