TMS tracksters prep for opener

Over 50 students from Thermopolis Middle School will compete this season in Track and Field. They've been hitting the track regularly last week and will pick things up again following spring break. Their first meet is scheduled for 9 a.m. April 7 at Burlington.

Among those on the eighth grade team are girls Hallie Martinez, Caydence Becher, Mariah Brooks, Julie Johnson, Shelby Vincent and June Wedor.

Eighth grade boys include Wyatt McDermott, Michael Slagle, Austin Barral, Matt Music, Aydan Cox, Hazen Thurgood, Landen Sosa, Tristin Brown, Cole Christiansen, Rylen Davis and Karsten Hart.

On the seventh grade team, girls include Sydney Jacobson, Isabella Gerber, Brooklyn Brown, Brooklyn Cooley, Lexi Overfield, Jayci Basse and Brooklynn May.

Seventh grade boys include Gavin Shumway, Tanner Jensen, Elijah Skelton, Isac Robinson, Jackson Reed, Ben Wallace, Chase Herring and Spencer Calhoun.

Sixth grade girls include Charlee Oliver, Kaitlin Barral, Xoey Rich, Jillian Kyle, Joely Mounts, Kaia Galovich, Kori Linton, Dazlynn Hunt and Jayda Griffin.

Sixth grade boys include Ethan Music, Mason Reese, Kanyon Gerber, Ty Peterson, Ethan Crowe, Sean Slagle, Williman Coale, Jesse Rodriguez, Seth Needham, Jessen Basse, Trenton May and Chris Bapst.
