Holy Week services

Easter will be here on April 1, and churches in the area have shared their plans for services during Holy Week.

At the Federated Community Church, there will be a special service on Thursday, March 29, starting at 7 p.m.

The Chancel Choir will be performing during services on Easter Sunday at both 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Risen Son Southern Baptist Church will be conducting a sunrise service on Easter Sunday at 7 a.m. at 215 Ramsey Lane, followed by an Easter Breakfast at the church at 8:30 a.m.

There will also be Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and Worship Hour at 10:45. Please note there will be no evening service on Easter Sunday.

St. Francis Catholic Church will hold Palm Sunday mass this Saturday evening at 5 p.m. and again on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Holy Thursday mass will be at 6 p.m., March 29 with Good Friday communion at 6 p.m., March 30. An Easter vigil will be held beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday, the 31st.

Easter Sunday, mass will begin at 9 a.m.

There will be an Easter Morning Sunrise breakfast at the First Baptist Church starting at 9 a.m., followed by small groups at 9:45 and Morning Worship at 11 a.m.

River of Life will be serving a 9 a.m. breakfast on Easter Sunday with Easter Services starting at 9:30 a.m.

Maundy Thursday services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church today (Thursday) at 7 p.m. and Good Friday services will be at 7 p.m.

Easter vigil on Saturday will begin at 4 p.m. They will hold an Easter Sunrise service in the State Park at 6:30 a.m. followed by breakfast at the church at 8 a.m. and Resurrection of Our Lord at 9 a.m.
