The Thermopolis Gymkhana Series will host its Bucks for Buckaroos event this Saturday, March 17 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds, beginning at 6 p.m.
There will be a chili feed as well as a silent auction. Adults are $10, and kids 12 and under are $5.
There will also be a shorty team roping jackpot and a stick horse barrel jackpot with divisions of Peewee (six and under), Youth (ages 7-14) and Open (14 and older) in each.
In the team roping jackpot, entry fees are $5 per man. Bring your own kid rope, and every team gets three head to run on as many times as you’d like. In the barrel jackpot, it’s $5 a run and you can run on as many stick horses as you’d like. Proceeds will go for year-end awards for the Gymkhana series.
There will also be yard games and a photo booth available, and a 50/50 raffle to support Tracy Loughlin.
