Richard Bokor

Richard Marlston Bokor, 66, of Astoria, Ore., passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short battle with cancer on February 12, 2018.

Richard was born in Phoenix, Ariz., in 1951. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict between 1968 and 1972. The Marines was a defining part of his life and he was and will always be a Marine. Rich, Ricky, Uncle Icky, Richard was many things to many people but he will be remembered by all as a very kind, giving and compassionate person with a wicked and often tactless sense of humor.

Richard is survived by his ex-wife, Reachel Bokor, of Beaverton, Ore., stepsons, William Lauver and Jamason Lauver; siblings, Phylene Bokor, Chris Bokor and Sam Bokor and nieces and nephews, Nick, Alex, Austin, Skylar, Seth and Tessa.

He is preceeded in death by his parents, Eugene Joseph and Margaret Jean Bokor.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Thermopolis at a later date.
