Gear signs books Saturday

Local author Michael Gear will be signing his latest novels, “Outpost” and “Flight of the Hawk: The River” during a book signing hosted by Storyteller.

Fans of science fiction will be enthralled with “Outpost”, the first in a planned series about the planet Donovan and the the realities of colonization under the demands of corporate overlords.

Filled with adventure and all kinds of monsters, Gear has stepped away from the Western stories he usually pens to bring his audience something new.

Gear will also be signing a second novel more in the arena his fans are used to, “Flight of the Hawk: The River”, filled with intrigue, set in 1812. The fur trade can be deadly.

The book signing will be held on Sat., Feb. 24, starting at 3 p.m.
