Co-ed basketball

The Hot Springs County Recreation District Adult Co-ed Basketball League has gotten underway for the 2018 season, with six teams competing.

Week 1 results are as follows:

One Hill of a Cizzle — 62; Vicklund Pharmacy — 46

Top scorer for One Hill was Gary Benefiel with 18 points; top scorer for Vicklund was James Van Heule with 19.

Red Rock — 69; Carquest — 45

Top scorer for Red Rock was Tarvis Wingler with 23; top scorer for Carquest was Joe Munts with 8.

Merit — 44; Hoosier Daddy — 32

Top scorer for Merit was David Evans with 19; top scorer for Hoosier was Dillon Upton with 9.

Week 2 games were scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 7, with Carquest against Merit at 6 p.m., Vicklund against Hoosier at 7 p.m. and One Hill against Red Rock at 8 p.m.
