On the Record policy
It is the Thermopolis Independent Record’s policy that all people arrested or cited under the “Accidents,” “Sheriff’s office” or “Police department” in the On the Record section are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday, Jan. 2
1:53 p.m. Caller was concerned about a subject on horseback who could not be reached. The subject was found to be OK.
2:49 p.m. Juveniles in the state park were pulling an inner tube behind a truck. They were told to knock it off and complied.
Wednesday, Jan. 3
9:54 a.m. Subject reported items missing from her home.
Thursday, Jan. 4
2:34 p.m. Subjects were taking items from a deceased person’s home and were told to stop.
6:41 p.m. Thirteen head of cattle were reported missing. The matter is under investigation.
Friday, Jan. 5
1:50 p.m. Sheriff Lou Falgoust and deputy Jeremie Kraushaar were helping serve food at the Hot Springs County Senior Center when a female subject began choking. Kraushaar successfully performed the Heimlich on the subject and she was able to breathe again.

Tuesday, Jan. 2
4:46 p.m. Report of a vehicle stalled in an intersection. The vehicle was later removed.
Wednesday, Jan. 3
12:35 p.m. Dakota Wedor was arrested for driving under the influence and minor in possession. Wedor and juvenile subjects were also connected with a burglary from a vehicle and theft of a vehicle and handgun on Tuesday morning.
Thursday, Jan. 4
6:53 p.m. A box truck hit the railroad underpass on Park Street. The underpass was checked out by the railroad and a state accident report was completed.
Friday, Jan. 5
Unknown time: Chris L. Mower was arrested for alleged failure to appear.
8:01 p.m. Officer responded to a domestic dispute which was not physical in nature. Everything was settled and the involved parties went their separate ways.
Saturday, Jan. 6
1:51 a.m. Cindee L. Reynolds was arrested for alleged probation violation.
Sunday, Jan. 7
7:24 a.m. A runaway juvenile was located at a local business and taken to the Law Enforcement Center until his parents could pick him up.
10:56 a.m. Complainant believed her cat had been shot by someone with a pellet gun.
Monday, Jan. 8
1:09 p.m. Tiffany L. Alberding was arrested for alleged probation violation.

Charlie David Sean Jacobsen was born Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Emily Stidham and Chance Jacobsen of Wyoming.
He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Dina Stidham and Richard Tinklenberg of Caldwell, Idaho, Arnold Jacobsen of Billings, Mont., and Mona Riddle of Thermopolis, Wyo.
Brian Ray Dyer Jr. was born Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Ashley Beachler and Brian Dyer of Wyoming.
He weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce.
Grandparents are Wyatt Beachler of North Dakota, Mary Cleary of Washington and Bill Dyer of Wyoming.
Oakley Ann Harvey was born Friday, December 29, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Sierra and Bryce Harvey of Thermopolis, Wyo.
She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 21.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Vickie and Danny Schmidt of South Dakota and Scott and Leslie Harvey of Wyoming.
Parker and Hayden Rae were born Sunday, November 5, 2017, in Memphis, Tenn., to Jennifer and Andy Bickel.
Grandparents are Van and Carol Johnson of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Brad and Valerie Bickel of California.
Circuit court
Gregory M. Wallace was found guilty of under 21 — consume alcohol and was sentenced to 40 days in jail with 40 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $455.
Jonathan I. Pulido was found guilty of under 21 — consume alcohol and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $455.
