Hawk rescue

Sheriff's Deputy Jerimie Kraushaar and Emergency Management Coordinator Bill Gordon unwrap a rough-legged hawk they rescued from the side of the road north of town. Gordon had seen the bird and turned around to check on it, noticing it didn't fly away as he approached. He and Kraushaar nabbed the bird in a blanket and it was transported to a local vet before being taken to Cody for rehabilitation. Kraushaar said the hawk is dong fine and is expected to make a full recovery.
