On the Record policy
It is the Thermopolis Independent Record’s policy that all people arrested or cited under the “Accidents,” “Sheriff’s office” or “Police department” in the On the Record section are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, Oct. 23
6 p.m. Joshua Limberhand was arrested on a Fremont County warrant.
Sheriff’s office
Tuesday, Oct. 17
12:05 p.m. Report of theft of copper cable in the Owl Creek area. The matter is under investigation.
4:19 p.m. Report of theft of scrap copper from a business. The matter is under investigation.
6:45 p.m. James Taylor was arrest on a warrant for alleged probation violation.
Wednesday, Oct. 18
10:52 a.m. Assist requested from Department of Family Services (DFS) regarding a juvenile.
Thursday, Oct. 19
8:50 a.m. Assist requested by the high school for a juvenile matter.
Time unknown: Michael Abrams turned himself in for alleged purchasing a hunting license while under suspension from Game and Fish.
Friday, Oct. 20
1:07 p.m. Subject in East Thermopolis reported being threatened with physical harm. Most of the people named are not in the county, and the reporting party did not identify others making threats.
2:18 p.m. Assist with DFS to find a subject. The subject was not located.
4:59 p.m. REDDI report from Wyoming Highway Patrol of a subject reportedly driving much too slow and impeding traffic on Highway 120. The subject was not intoxicated and was driving slowly because he was trying to save gas.
Saturday, Oct. 21
2:30 p.m. One vehicle accident on East River Road. The incident is under investigation.
4:21 p.m. Report of an accident on Highway 20. When the deputy found the vehicle he observed it had a flat tire and the driver was attempting to get to a turnout. There was no damage indicating the vehicle had been involved in an accident.
6:55 p.m. Subject’s vehicle became stuck on Buffalo Creek. The subject was given a ride to a hotel, and advised the deputy he would get a tow truck the next day.
Police department
Tuesday, Oct. 17
8:31 a.m. Report of an accident, in which one vehicle backed into another.
10:37 a.m. Report of an incident involving drugs. The matter is under investigation.
4:25 p.m. Assist to DFS for a home cleanliness check. The home was not up to standards, and a time frame was provided in which to have it cleaned up.
4:51 p.m. A house check was performed by Probation and Parole and a controlled substance was found. Tiphanie Reynolds was arrested for alleged child endangerment.
Wednesday, Oct. 18
1:05 p.m. Report of a dog biting a juvenile. The reporting party wanted the incident on record.
3:15 p.m. A business manager and a female subject were arguing. The female was told to leave the business and was later trespassed.
Thursday, Oct. 19
8:09 a.m. Report of a vehicle speeding through a school zone. The vehicle could not be located.
7:45 p.m. Reporting party thought she heard someone in her garage. The building was checked and it did not appear anyone had been inside.
Friday, Oct. 20
9:15 a.m. Complainant reported bricks had been taken from her front yard. The matter is under investigation.
9:23 p.m. Subject reported someone was shining a light in her garage. The light was a reflection.
Sunday, Oct. 22
1:30 p.m. Reporting party could not locate a pet skunk. The skunk was later located by its owner.
1:36 p.m. Verbal fight between two female subjects. One was cited for open container.
4:29 p.m. Report of a domestic violence incident, but no further information was available from the alleged victim.
Monday, Oct. 23
8:23 a.m. A crossing guard reported someone drove through while he was picking up his sign in the street.

Elena Annalynn Christenson was born Monday, October 16, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Harmony and Colter Christenson of Wyoming.
She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
Grandparents are Alton and Somer Mitchell and Mark Christenson and Sheila Wagner, all of Wyoming.
Aspen Jade Etsinger was born Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Alexandra and Benjamin Etsinger of Wyoming.
She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 21.75 inches long.
Grandparents are Doug and Tammie Etsinger of Wyoming and Robert and Barbara Perez of California.

Circuit court
Steven Bledsoe was found guilty of use of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 80 days in jail with 25 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $630.
Jesse Tyler was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and threatening to inflict death by phone call or other communication and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 169 days suspension and one year supervised probation. Fees and fines are $660.
Michael Abrams was found guilty of two counts of procuring, purchasing or possessing another license while under suspension and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspension and one year unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $790.
