Always a Bobcat race set for Saturday

Part of Homecoming week for the Bobcats is the cross country team’s home meet on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. at the golf course.

This year, the community is invited to be part of the festivities with the “Always a Bobcat” race that will be held in conjunction with the cross country meet.

The race will begin at 11:15 a.m. and is open to anyone in the community, families, coaches or anyone who would like to join.

There will be prizes for the top three individuals and the best dressed Bobcat fan.

The 5k course will be open to the public following the middle school and high school races.

The “Always a Bobcat” race is a fundraiser for the Bobcat cross country team, so a fee of $10 for individuals and $20 for families will go directly to the team.
