The most noticeable difference at the site for the new Maverik store is the addition of the new fuel tanks along the north side of the lot. As gravel is poured in around the tanks, workers also make sure no rocks go inside and the tanks are properly sealed.
A project around town certainly getting a lot of attention is the destruction of the former Maverik store and preparation of the area for the new store. Of course, it's kind of hard to miss the machines and crews working inside the fenced area on Sixth Street.
