Final Farmers Market Saturday

This Saturday will be your last chance for some fresh from the garden veggies with the final Farmers Market of the season.

Market coordinator Sonja Becker said they have had a great season with more vendors than they’ve had in the past.

“We had 19 vendors on our biggest day,” she said. “Before, our biggest number had been 12.”

Now, at the end of the growing season, with the threat of a freeze looming, everyone is cleaning out their gardens and bringing down their final harvest.

The Farmers Market will be Saturday, starting at 8 a.m., downtown on the corner of Broadway and Fifth Streets.
