Cross country up and running

The 2017 Thermopolis High School Cross Country team started practice this week, with their first meet scheduled for next Friday.

Coach Stephanie Metz stated, "We have a very dedicated, young team! They're not afraid to run in the rain and work hard. We have seven middle school athletes out that are challenging and pushing each other every practice, all of which are optional at this time. It's great to see an interest in cross at such a young age!!

"Our high school girls have also worked hard all summer and have successfully given themselves a nice base to start the season. Our first meet will be at Kelly Walsh on August 25, and I'm very eager to see what our team can do and the times these hard workers will produce against the competition."
