Cody Joseph TenBoer, 44, of Thermopolis, passed away on August 12, 2017, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper after a lengthy battle with multiple physical ailments.
He was born in Thermopolis on November 1, 1972, to Terry and Carol TenBoer and graduated from Hot Springs County High School in 1990.
Cody was a CNA most of his working career and was employed by Westward Heights Center in Lander, Wyo., at the time of his incapacitation. He was deeply compassionate and caring for the seniors and patients in his care and shed many tears when one passed away.
He had a very kind heart, a terrific sense of humor, and was always full of mischief. He loved outdoor activities: camping, fishing, hunting and photography. Besides his family, the love of his life was his dog "Daisy Doo Doo" who survives him.
In June, as a result of joining the Set Free Church of Thermopolis, and because of their wonderful program, he accepted Christ into his heart and was baptized.
He is survived by his daughters, Kaycee Morgan TenBoer, 22; Katelynn Hanna TenBoer, 20 and Lacey Cheyenne TenBoer, 15, all of Riverton, Wyo.; his father and mother; brother, Darien James (Brenda) TenBoer of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two nephews; and one niece.
No funeral services are planned but a scattering of his ashes in conjunction with a "celebration of life" will be conducted at a later date.
