WYDOT public meeting set for Wednesday

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is scheduling a series of meetings throughout August to address future highway improvement projects in northwest Wyoming.

A key part of the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) process involves holding annual meetings with local public officials and others who play a key transportation role in Wyoming.

This allows everyone an opportunity to give their input on what are the most important items on the planning list.

STIP has a prioritized construction plan for over 1,300 miles of highway in northwest Wyoming. Those plans are both short range as well as long range planned projects determined by a complex analysis process and public input.

The local meeting for Hot Springs County will be held on Wed., Aug. 16, at 1:30 p.m. at the county annex building.
