Tuesday, July 25
8:17 p.m. Report of a grass fire at 689 East Sunnyside.

Wednesday, July 26
8:54 p.m. Report of a vehicle vs. deer accident six miles outside town on Highway 120. The deer was cleared off the road.
Thursday, July 27
9:33 p.m. Assistance provided to turn off a fire alarm that just went off with no apparent cause.
Friday, July 28
12:03 p.m. Report of a vehicle vs. antelope accident on Highway 120. The vehicle involved had left the scene.
3:18 p.m. Welfare check reported on a subject who was found OK.
Saturday, July 29
3:19 p.m. Multiple agencies responded to a report of two adults and three juveniles caught under the Sixth Street bridge. All were safely rescued.
8:53 p.m. Deputy saw two subjects pushing a vehicle near mile marker 129 on Highway 20 South. The subjects stated they had hit a deer, and accepted the deputy’s offer to call a tow truck. The subjects later said they had someone coming and the tow truck was cancelled.
Sunday, July 30
11:10 a.m. Report from Highway Patrol of a vehicle hauling a boat and swerving all over the road. Suspect vehicle could not be located.
3:49 p.m. A deputy was requested to help Highway Patrol with a vehicle search.
Monday, July 31
4:38 p.m. Request from Department of Family Services for a deputy to assist with a home visit.
8:17 p.m. A deputy found a credit card and contacted the owner, who made arrangements to pick it up.
Police department
Tuesday, July 25
1:45 p.m. Report of a scam in which the caller poses as the Social Security Administration and threatens fines and jail time. The caller also requested money be sent via loaded credit cards.
Wednesday, July 26
4:28 a.m. Welfare check requested, though by the time the officer arrived the family had made contact with the subject.
9:39 a.m. Report of suspicious activity, regarding a subject storing items on another’s property.
1:23 p.m. Caller reported finding a money card with her husband’s name in the street. It was a false card.
6:41 p.m. A door-to-door salesman did not have a license and was asked to move along.
8:17 p.m. Report of a missing subject. The subject was later located and returned home.
Thursday, July 27
8:46 a.m Report of a dead or wounded cat on the sidewalk. The owner took care of the animal.
9:05 a.m. Check on a home where the water was shut off but still being accessed. The meter was not working correctly.
9:17 a.m. Report of three bicycles stolen out of a garage. The matter is under investigation.
2:16 p.m. Report of alleged domestic dispute. The matter is under investigation.
4:15 p.m. Report of two juveniles who appeared not to be able to get into their house. An officer checked the house, and Jesse Tyler was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
5:37 p.m. Report from Highway Patrol of a vehicle nearly causing a crash. The suspect vehicle could not be located.
8:56 p.m. Report of a vehicle all over the road. The vehicle could not be located.
9:20 p.m. A search warrant was executed on a home with juveniles. Drugs and paraphernalia were found.
Friday, July 28
8:40 a.m. Robert Hunter Jr. was arrested for alleged probation violation.
3:26 p.m. Report of a 911 hang up. The phone was located, and the owner had accidentally dialed the number.
8:54 p.m. Caller reported a vagrant. Shane Boren was arrested on a bench warrant for alleged failure to appear.
9:45 p.m. Report of juveniles getting ready to play Fugitive.
Saturday, July 29
Between 1:08 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. there were four reports of dogs getting out during the thunderstorm. These dogs were returned to their owners with no charges or fines.
9:51 a.m. A museum representative stated items had been taken from their displays. The matter is under investigation.
11:30 a.m. A female subject reported a Rottweiler coming out of a yard, barking and scaring her. It was determined the dog is not aggressive.
9:24 p.m. Complaint about noise with regard to derby cars. When officers arrived, the people working on the cars were cleaning up.
9:28 p.m. Report of a truck parked in a business lot all day. An officer was contacted to try and get the vehicle moved.
Sunday, July 30
9:43 a.m. Two female subjects were trespassed from a business for creating a disturbance the day before.
10:44 a.m. A vehicle known to not belong to a BN worker was parked next to the BN building. The owner was contacted and moved the vehicle.
11:56 a.m. A set of keys found at Sixth and Broadway were turned in.
4 p.m. Following a traffic stop, Earl Bell was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for alleged failure to appear.
6:38 p.m. Subject called to let someone know his dog had gotten out. The animal could not be located.
Monday, July 31
12:47 a.m. Welfare check requested on a juvenile, who was found to be OK.
8:06 a.m. Caller expressed concern items from a garage sale had been left out on the sidewalk. The owner removed the items.
2:48 p.m. Male subject reported he lost a set of keys in town.
6:57 p.m. Father called for a welfare check on a juvenile who was found to be OK.
7:07 p.m. Harassment call regarding juveniles, with one stating he dropped a phone and broke it. A female subject felt there was more going on than what was being said.
Circuit court
Shawn Goodman was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspension and one year supervised probation. Fees and fines are $640.
Jacquelyn Tuttle was found guilty of second-offense driving under suspension and theft under $1,000, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 53 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $1,000.
