Barbara Kay (Harris) Haverlock, 81, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2017.
Born September 21, 1935, in Loveland, Colo., she was the daughter of Donald and Florence (Yocum) Harris. She was raised and educated in Thermopolis, where she graduated in 1953.
On Dec. 24, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, Andrew Haverlock.
In 1956 they moved to Casper where they shared life together for 51 years until Andrew's passing in 2005. She was employed for 23 years in the health care industry as a receptionist, billing and insurance clerk as well as an office manager.
Her family was her greatest joy. She was devoted to her husband, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Don (Tammy) Haverlock, Brenda (Terry) McGlothlin and Brad (Wendy) Haverlock; grandchildren, Dustin (Becky) Haverlock and Danielle (Wesley) Duckworth; great-grandchildren, Cindy (Dustin) Gillis and Brandon; two great, great-grandchildren, Emily Gillis and Ethan Gillis; sister-in-law, Lois Haverlock; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Kent Harris.
Memorial services for will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 21, in the chapel of Oregon Trail State Veterans' Cemetery in Evansville, by Pastor Tim Adams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice Program, 319 S. Wilson St., Casper, WY 82601 or any charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory.
