Two days of family fun are on the horizon for Aug. 4 and 5 with a family ropes course adventure, sponsored by Lights On.
The ropes course is an adventure course with many elements to build self confidence, communication, collaboration and teamwork.
As a family, studies show these things are key in connecting with one another.
There is a rock climbing wall, zipline, incline log and lots more included in the course.
If your family is needing a little boost of fun and a bit of bonding, sign up and enjoy the two-day camp.
Things will kick off both days at 8:30 a.m. and run until noon with snacks and water provided.
Family members can be parents, guardians, able grandparents or a close family friend over 18-years old. Fifth through 12th grade participants and families are welcome. Don’t let physical disabilities get in the way, either. The leaders will do everything they can to accommodate everyone.
There is a $15 registration fee for the course and you may pre-register by calling Elisa Daniels at 921-1211 or register the first day of the course. Waivers and registration papers will be signed upon arrival.
