12:01 a.m. Report of a grass fire at 743 Missouri Flat.
11:14 p.m. Check on a carbon monoxide alarm in the 700 block of South 14th.

10:30 p.m. Report of a grass and structure fire in the 100 block of Cedar Ridge.

Friday, June 30
11:14 a.m. Caller reported a multi-vehicle accident at the mouth of the canyon. The reported incident turned out to be nothing.
4:44 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a call from someone, stating he had won some money though he would have to send some money to process the claim. No money was exchanged.
Saturday, July 1
4:44 p.m. Search and Rescue was called out for floaters stranded on the river.
10:23 p.m. Report of suspicious activity, which turned out to be a couple male subject showing each other their stereo equipment.
Sunday, July 2
8:52 p.m. Reporting party stated some cattle were going into a neighbor’s pasture, and there were some issues regarding the fence between the properties. The matter was deemed civil.
Monday, July 3
8:52 a.m. A call in regard to a theft was later cancelled due to a misunderstanding from a subject.
Tuesday, July 4
6:36 p.m. Report of teenagers who were playing in the overflow from the river.
8:55 p.m. REDDI report, though the suspect vehicle was located and followed, and no infractions were seen.
Wednesday, July 5
3:02 p.m. A male subject reported his vehicle had a flat tire, and implied someone had put roofing nails on the road. Upon investigation of the area, the deputy did not locate any nails.
Friday, July 7
3:45 p.m. Assistance provided to Department of Family Services for a home visit. However, the subject was not at home.
Saturday, July 8
7:28 p.m. Assist provided with an ongoing issue concerning child visitation. The matter was deemed civil.
Sunday, July 9
1:47 a.m. Female subject reported some drink ware and dishes were taken from her home.
11:40 a.m. Search and Rescue was called to help floaters who were stranded on the river.
5:05 p.m. A female subject reported a subject had broken into her home, and broke dishes and the door.
Monday, July 10
1:29 p.m. Report of juvenile male swimming in the river overflow.
2:43 p.m. A female subject was cited for causing a breach of peace.
3 p.m. A business requested a trespass notice served on a male subject.

Friday, June 30
12:56 a.m. Tiffany Brown was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent.
10:20 a.m. Complainant reported receiving threatening messages from a family member. The subject was asked to provide a written statement, and has not done so.
Saturday, July 1
7:44 p.m. Report of a subject setting off fireworks. The individual was warned. There were several reports of fireworks over the past week, most with no contact with subjects who were setting them off.
11:04 p.m. Tyler Asay was arrested on a warrant for alleged probation revocation.

12:25 p.m. REDDI report, though the driver was contacted and was not intoxicated.
Monday, July 3
8:36 a.m. Officer responded to a dispute between neighbors, where one was accusing the other of trespassing.
4:58 p.m. Response to a dispute between neighbors and reports of harassment. A trespass notice was served.
Tuesday, July 4
10:16 p.m. Report of an intoxicated subject. There was no contact with the subject.
Wednesday, July 5
7:18 a.m. Report of a hit and run accident in which a Sheriff’s Office vehicle was struck in front of the Law Enforcement Center.
8:03 a.m. Report of drug paraphernalia found at a business.
2:19 p.m. Complainant reported a subject was walking dogs without leashes and the animals were being aggressive. The subject was spoken to.
11:05 p.m. Caller reported a high pitch noise, determined to be coming from a carbon monoxide detector. The fire department was contacted and determined the air in the home was OK.
Thursday, July 6
10:27 a.m. Report of a suspected mail theft.
4:45 p.m. Report of kids playing in the river. An adult was contacted and agree to get the kids out.
8:12 p.m. Dispute between juveniles regarding missing money. The complainant later said he may have misplaced the money.
9:24 p.m. Boone Myers was arrested for alleged driving under the influence.
Friday, July 7
2:27 p.m. Report of a subject soliciting asphalt service without a permit. The subject was contacted and chose to leave town.
7:41 p.m. Report of a suspicious subject approaching others at a local business. Employees were told if the subject returns they could request a trespass notice.
Saturday, July 8
6:15 p.m. REDDI report on a driver who was speeding. The driver was not intoxicated, but was warned about the speeding and cited for no insurance.
9:24 p.m. Report of a disgruntled guest at a hotel who had paid for several days. The matter was worked out.

She weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

Sypher Jay Salinas was born Monday, July 3, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Shyanne and Vincent Salinas of Wyoming.
He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Daryl and Penny King and Milo and Patty Vega, all of Wyoming.
Jordyn Elizabeth Czarobski was born Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Cody Stewart and Joseph Czarobski.
She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Circuit court
Karl Loos was found guilty of domestic battery and use of a controlled substance, and was sentenced to six months in jail. Fees and fines are $580.
Ann Quinlan was found guilty of driving under the influence and sentenced to one year supervised probation. Fees and fines are $250.
Scott Jackson was bound over to district court on a count of fourth-offense driving under the influence.
James Folsom was bound over to district court on charges of second-degree sexual assault of a minor and second-degree sexual assault of a minor by one in a position of authority.
Earnest Reynolds was found guilty of theft under $1,000 and shoplifting under $1,000, and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspension and six months supervised probation. Fees and fines are $1,080.
Joshua Wilson was found guilty of breach of peace and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $190.
