Sip and paint on Tuesday

Those who want to have some fun and test their artistic skills can check out the “sip and paint” event on Tuesday, July 18 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the VFW. The piece chosen for the workshop is “Do What You Love.” Kait Quinton with Wyoming Paint and Create will provide instruction.

As a “sip and paint” event, those of age can drink alcoholic beverages while they create. Quinton said she is not bringing any alcohol, but the bar at the VFW will be open. The event itself, however, is not limited to those 21 and older and all ages are welcome. Quinton has been hosting the events for two years, and this is her first in Thermopolis.

Tickets for the event are $35 each, and those attending will receive instruction and help on the piece, easels, aprons and paintbrushes to work with, two hours of painting and, when finished, a 16x20 stretched canvas to take home.
