Water kickball begins next week

Those looking to have some fun and don’t mind getting wet can sign up for the MoveOpolis slip-n-slide kickball tournament, beginning Wednesday, July 12 at 6 p.m., in Hot Springs State Park near the Pioneer Home.

Slip-n-slide kickball is just like the regular sport, though the bases are wading pools and there is plastic sheeting between them.

Teams should have around eight people on them, and the cost is $50 per team, which covers play in the last three Wednesdays in July. Proceeds from the event will go to the MoveOpolis Club, to help cover costs of events they put on.
