Its time to have a little fun in the dark for a good cause – the Glow Golf Tournament at the Thermopolis Golf Course to benefit the Hot Springs County High School golf team.
The tournament will be held on July 14, starting at 9 p.m.
The tournament will be played as a nine-hole “ambrose scramble” with four to a team and a team handicap.
Since the tournament will be played in the dark, there are some interesting changes to help make things a little easier.
For example, the cups will be six inches rather than the regular four inch cups and will be lighted, as well.
Registration for the tournament will be through Wednesday, July 12, with sign-ups done at the golf course. Costs will be $200 per foursome. Registration will include your glow gear and one LED glow ball. Additional glow balls will be on sale in the pro shop.
Along with the tournament, there will also be silent auction items available.
All proceeds from the tournament and silent auction will go toward equipment for the team and traveling expenses.
