Two sessions of summer rec camps offered

Hot Springs County Recreation District and the Lights On Afterschool program will be holding two sessions of Summer Rec Camp starting July 10.

Open to ages 6-13, the first session will begin July 10 and run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday through July 19.

The second session will be held from July 31 through Aug. 9.

Mondays will be “sport” days, Tuesdays are “outdoor” days and Wednesdays will be “ropes course” days.

A calendar of activities during the camp will be posted on the rec district’s website to give parents and kids an idea of what they will be doing during the week as well as where pick up and drop off areas will be.

Fees for the sessions will be $50 per student for one session or $90 if you sign them up for both sessions.

Registration may be done online or at the rec district office.
