Kirby celebration cancelled

The first annual Kirby Days event, scheduled for July 8, has been cancelled for 2017. Jessica Slagle, Kirby Days Committee member, said due to unforeseen circumstances with the event, the Kirby Town Council made the decision to postpone it.
