Thursday, April 20
8:22 p.m. REDDI report regarding a speeding vehicle. The vehicle could not be located.
9:21 p.m. Report of rocks on the road in the canyon. There were no rocks when the deputy arrived.
Friday, April 21
8:32 a.m. Citizen assist was provided with regard to an argument.
2:13 p.m. Report of a dog chained to a tree with no food, water or shelter. The owner was contacted and told to adequately provide for the animal.
Saturday, April 22
9:46 a.m. Report of a dog in the river at Green Eye. The dog was recovered and was OK.
7:57 p.m. Request for a welfare check at a local motel. The subject was found OK.
Sunday, April 23
11:40 a.m. REDDI report on a vehicle that was heading into the canyon, then flipped around and was heading for town. The vehicle was found parked and unoccupied.
Police department
Wednesday, April 19
2:08 a.m. Report of an unhappy customer at a business. The customer left prior to the officer’s arrival.
8:36 a.m. Complainant at a business reported a car dolly had rolled down a hill and onto the business property. The dolly was retrieved prior to the officer arriving.
9:50 a.m. Complainant reported a vehicle parked on property that didn’t belong there. The owner was contacted and agreed to move the vehicle.
1:21 p.m. Issue raised regarding the purchase of used tires 10 months ago. Those involved were informed it was a civil matter.
3:45 p.m. Report of a possible telephone scam. After review it was deemed this was someone posing as the IRS. No money was exchanged.
9:54 p.m. Officer responded to a call about a an individual who was experience bouts of depression. The subject was intoxicated, and arrangements were made for him to stay at a hotel.
Thursday, April 20
2:09 a.m. Report of a vehicle striking an orange marker barrel, after a dog interfered with the person’s driving ability.
8:54 a.m. Officer accompanied Probation and Parole on a home visit. Inside the residence, there was drug paraphernalia found, as well as paraphernalia that tested positive for meth. Tyler Asay was arrested for alleged possession with intent.
10:50 a.m. Report of barking dogs. Officer located the dogs and attempted to contact the owner.
7:50 p.m. Complainant reported hearing what sounded like a gunshot.
11:42 p.m. An out of town organization reported a possible suicidal subject. The subject was found intoxicated, but not suicidal, though an officer remained at the scene until he was no longer a concern.
Friday, April 21
5:57 p.m. Shealene Dorothy was arrested for alleged probation violation.
Sunday, April 23
9:57 a.m. Report of a subject revving a motorcycle engine into the middle of the night. Complainant was advised to call in when the noise is happening, to better narrow down the area.
Monday, April 24
4 p.m. Civil standby was provided while a subject retrieved items from a home.
4:14 p.m. Complainant reported being bitten by a dog.
Circuit court
Kerry Clingman was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $640.
Nathan Paschall was found guilty of domestic battery and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspension and six months supervised probation. Fees and fines are $290.
Michael Wells was found guilty of transport with intent to furnish to subject under 21 years of age and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $190.

Jaxson Eugene Asay was born Monday, April 17, 2017, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Brittni and Kwintin Asay of Wyoming.
He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 18.75 inches long.
Grandparents are Brenda Hoyer and Butch and Norma Asay, all of Wyoming.
