Eclipse meeting set for Monday

The public is invited to a second public meeting regarding the upcoming solar eclipse in August.

The meeting will be held Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m. in the commons area of the middle school.

Planning for the celestial event has been going on for some months, and the committee will be on hand to answer any questions folks may have as well as explain what plans are already in place.

The eclipse will encompass most of Hot Springs County on August 21.
