Building will remain empty

Yetter Salvage removed the overhead canopies from the former Kwik Mark location at Sixth and Warren on Saturday. According to Hot Springs County property records, the property is owned by YBP, LLC of Casper. Robinson Contracting of Casper contracted for the canopy removal and with D & A Construction and Concrete to remove the fuel tanks from the location in February. The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality requires removal of out-of-service storage fuel tanks after an extended period of non-use. The business closed and the property was transferred from Milton and Cynthia McClintock and McClintock, Inc. to YBP, LLC in 2012. There are no immediate plans for another business in the building. Yetter Trucking hauled the canopies to another location pending a new home in Thermopolis.
