Among them were: 507 calls involving animals or wildlife, 292 citizen assists, 179 suspicious, 100 incidents involving property damage, 71 thefts, 70 welfare checks, 68 traffic offenses, 59 frauds, 44 assists to other agencies, 40 REDDI reports, 36 trespassing incidents, 35 vandalisms, 34 harassments, 26 threats, 12 assaults, nine burglaries, nine reports of driving under the influence, nine sex offenses, seven incidents involving drugs, six disturbances, six incidents involving livestock, five escorts, five personal injury accidents, two incidents of child abuse and one forgery.
The Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office responded to a total 1,199 calls. Included among them were: 360 VIN inspections, 83 citizen assists, 50 incidents involving property damage, 49 calls involving animals or wildlife, 48 assists to other agencies, 46 REDDI reports, 44 calls regarding livestock, 42 traffic offenses, 40 gun permits, 38 suspicious, 35 prisoner transports, 22 thefts, 11 trespassing, 10 frauds, 10 warrant arrests, seven reports of driving under the influence, seven vandalisms, six harassments, five sex offenses, five incidents involving drugs, four assaults, three escorts, three reports of minor in possession, three personal injury accidents, two reports of child abuse, two threats, one burglary and one forgery.
The Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department responded to 70 calls, among which were: 57 fire calls, three assists to other agencies, one suspicious incident, one citizen assist and one animal problem.
