Wyoming's grasslands exhibit at county library

An open house for a special exhibit of photographs celebrating Wyoming’s grasslands, prairies and open plains will be at the Hot Springs County Public Library this evening, Thursday, Feb. 9 from 4-6 p.m.

The exhibit, which features the work of Michael P. Berman and William S. Sutton, is co-hosted by the Wyoming Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and the Hot Springs County Library.

Berman and Sutton spent three years traversing Wyoming, logging many miles in an old pickup truck and on foot. Their travels took them to public and private lands, including several properties with conservation easements held by The Nature Conservancy.

Among the many locations featured in the exhibition are the Thunder Basin National Grasslands, Tom Thorne/Beth Williams Wildlife Habitat Management Area, and the Shirley Basin.

The exhibit will run through March 15 at the library.
