Annual seedling sale going on through April

In the depths of winter we all dream of spring and the renewal it brings, flowers and trees and warmer weather.

That makes this the perfect time to get your seedlings through the Hot Springs County Conservation District office or the University of Wyoming Extension Office.

Their annual seedling sale is going on now through the end of April with a variety of items available, from trees to flowers and shrubs.

As an example, a box of wildflower seedlings containing 30 plants will cost $76. If trees are more what you’re looking for, dependent on the size of trees you purchase, they can be as low as $50 for 50 trees.

If you need smaller numbers, you may split lots with friends or family.

Arrival of plants and trees is expected in early May.

For more information or to order your seedlings, please call the conservation district at 864-3488 or the extension office at 864-3421.
