Dancers take stage Friday

Those looking for an international cultural experience can check out the Moscow Nights/Golden Gates program, featuring dancers from Russia and Georgia, presented by the Hot Springs Greater Learning Foundation.

There will be a welcome reception Thursday for community members who are hosting the dancers. Foundation Education Director Jacky Wright expressed appreciation to everyone who stepped up to host.

On Friday, the dancers will take to the stage with a 10 a.m. performance at the auditorium for all students in the district. The auditorium is also home to the 7 p.m. public performance. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for students.

There are a total 13 dancers coming — seven female and six male. Wright noted they arrived in the country Wednesday, Jan. 4, and did some shows on the east coast before heading out west.
