There was plenty of action during the Recreation District Coed Volleyball Championship, as the Thermopolis Eyecare Eyeballerz battle the Blockbusters on their way to win the championship.
Team Thermopolis Eyecare Eyeballerz won the Recreation District Coed Volleyball Championship against second place Aimee Kay's Team Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Game one scores were 25-23 and 25-16 with game two scores coming in at 25-18 and 25-17.
Members of the Thermopolis Eyecare Eyeballerz are Dana McDermott, Molly Coyne, Mark Mortimore, Colte Russell, Jordan McKittrick, Karissa Williams and Kelly Cole.
A shocking upset happened when previously undefeated Elisa Daniel's Team came into tournament play, dropped the first two games and was eliminated. They finished sixth. Other team finishes include: Blockbusters third, Nacho Typical Chips fourth, That's What She Set fifth and Just the Tip seventh.
