Senior class fundraisers

Each year a party is held for the senior class on graduation night filled with games and prizes that send the students off to college with things they can really use.

In order to have the party, the senior class parents and students hold a number of fundraisers throughout the year.

This Sunday, Nov. 13, they will be having a bingo and spaghetti night with a dessert auction at the Thermopolis Middle School commons, starting at 5:30 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

For $20 you will receive two spaghetti dinners and two bingo cards. Extra dinners and extra cards will be $5 each. Tickets are available from any senior class member or will be available at the door.

Included in the evening will be prizes for each winning game, two $200 black-out games, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

Another ongoing fundraiser is the hanging of Christmas lights.

For a suggested $20 donation, seniors will come to your home and hang your Christmas lights for you.

Folks need to make sure their lights work prior to them being hung, but the class will provide their own ladders if needed for the hanging.

Weather permitting, the class will hang lights through the weekend of Dec. 17. Please call early to get on the list as soon as possible.

A Christmas present wrapping fundraiser is still in the planning stages.
