Catherine Howerton

Catherine Noel Howerton, 35, died suddenly October 2, 2016, at her residence in Thermopolis.

Born December 25, 1980, in Greybull, Wyo., she was the daughter of Doyle and Susan (Schlauch) Howerton. Catherine graduated from Hot Springs County High School in Thermopolis and completed three years of college.

She attended the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Her interests included collecting dolls, writing poetry and a book, and  traveling. She loved her cat, dog and guinea pig. She was a member of Mecca and Tops. 

Preceding her in death was her mother; grandfather, Vernon Howerton, and grandparents, Floyd and Margaret Schlauch.

Catherine is survived by her father, Doyle of Sedan, Kan .; grandmother, Geneva Howerton of Sedan, Kan; uncle Chris and aunt Becky LaQuay; uncle Ronnie and aunt Joan; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
