In just a couple weeks, the Thermopolis downtown will be home to several Halloween activities.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Meri Ann Rush said a “Trunk or Treat” event is planned for the parking area by Bicentennial Park. The park is also home to the costume judging contest, beginning at 5:45 p.m.
Picture opportunities will be available, and those looking for some spooky trips can check out the haunted bus rides. For an alternative to sweets check out Masonic Malta Lodge No. 17 for some tacos from the Masons, 4-7 p.m. Of course, candy is a big draw for people during the Halloween season, and there’s sure to be some at the Las Fuentes piñata bash, following the costume contest.
More information will be available as the event draws closer, but be sure to mark the date on your calendar and dress for the occasion, as madness once again comes to the downtown.
