Tuesday, September 20
2:48 p.m. Caller reported subjects were at a residence removing items. The property owner was contacted, and the subjects had permission to remove the items from the property.
8:14 p.m. Report of a vehicle causing issues. The vehicle was located, though it was not causing any problems at the time.
8:36 p.m. Caller reported a possible trespasser. The subject in question actually belonged at the property.
Wednesday, September 21
3:44 p.m. Report of goats on the highway. When a deputy arrived, the goats were already put back to pasture.
8:20 p.m. Attempts were made to locate a vehicle that had been loaned out but not returned.
Thursday, September 22
9:12 a.m. Deputy responded to an incident originally reported on Missouri Flats, though the location was actually Fremont County.
12:06 p.m. Report of goats on the highway. The animals were taken care of prior to the deputy’s arrival.
8:39 p.m. Complaint of noise from heavy equipment and wood cutting. A deputy suggested the parties responsible quit around when it gets dark.
Friday, September 23
4:42 p.m. A REDDI report was made on a vehicle, though it was discovered the driver was not intoxicated but only having trouble navigating the canyon.
5:33 p.m. Report of an alarm from a home, which was discovered to be false.
6:53 p.m. REDDI report from Highway 20 South. The vehicle could not be located.
Saturday, September 24
9:01 a.m. Caller reported gasoline was poured on his tent. Complainant chose not to pursue the issue.
8:12 p.m. Call was received regarding a subject walking along the highway. The subject was dressed appropriately for the weather, but was given a ride through the canyon.
Sunday, September 25
12:43 p.m. Sheriff’s office assisted the police department in a case involving items related to drugs in a home.
3:37 p.m. Report of a lost dog, later located by its owner.
9:04 p.m. Report of a vehicle vs. deer accident on Highway 20 South.
9:40 p.m. Call was received about a male subject in Hot Springs State Park acting strangely, trying to fight kids. Colton Robertson was arrested for alleged driving under the influence with a child, driving under suspension, no child restraint and interference with a peace officer.

Tuesday, September 20
9:10 a.m. A welfare check was performed, with the subject found OK.
10:46 a.m. Caller was in the process of erecting a fence and noted several items on his property that did not belong to him. The owner was contacted, and removed the items.
5:55 p.m. Some money was found and turned into lost and found.
6:04 p.m. Assistance was provided to Highway Patrol, to place a dog belonging to an intoxicated subject at the vet clinic.
Wednesday, September 21
10:28 a.m. Report of two dogs fighting. The incident was under control when an officer arrived.
9:56 p.m. Report of two vehicles that were speeding. The vehicles could not be located.
Thursday, September 22
9:11 a.m. A dog running at large was picked up.
9:48 a.m. A panhandler in front of a business was asked to remove himself.
11:24 a.m. Two dogs were initially reported missing, but were later found.
12:17 p.m. A cat found at Thermopolis Middle School was impounded.
1:12 p.m. Report of a broken window in the 300 block of Arapahoe.
5:10 p.m. Subject called with questions regarding a vehicle involved in an estate and how to gain possession of it.
Friday, September 23
1:39 p.m. Subject reported coming into contact with a person who smelled of alcohol and was getting into the driver’s side of a vehicle. The vehicle could not be located.
1:48 p.m. Civil standby was performed while utilities were reconnected.
3:07 p.m. Report of a potential problem between two parties. The matter resolved itself.
3:13 p.m. Subject reported losing a set of keys.
Saturday, September 24
10:44 a.m. Caller reported vandalism to a vehicle, specifically a crack in the driver’s door window.
2:30 p.m. Report of a truck spinning cookies at the fairgrounds. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
2:32 p.m. Report of a subject stealing items from her employer. Kristy Lynn Samples was arrested for alleged burglary.
8:33 p.m. During a traffic stop, subject Levi Taylor was taken into custody on a Fremont County warrant for alleged non-payment of child support.
10:26 p.m. REDDI report on a vehicle, though the driver, who was not intoxicated, was looking for Riverton. He was provided directions.
Sunday, September 25
11:53 a.m. Subject found a cat and took it into her possession. The owner was later found.
9:36 p.m. Report of a subject in a light-colored shirt and shorts staggering. The subject stepped out in the road, causing a driver to stop, and then attempted to get into the vehicle. Subject could not be located.
Monday, September 26
5:39 a.m. Report of a male subject seen around the middle school. Subject was gone when officers arrived.
12:59 p.m. Caller reported an attempted break in. There was no entry, but the officer did observe pry marks around the lock.
3:53 p.m. Custody dispute between two parents.
Circuit court
Joshua Wyrick was found guilty of domestic battery, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $640.
Travis Rattler was found guilty of battery, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 74 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $690.
William Larson was found guilty of reckless endangerment, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $240.
Holly Houser was found guilty of pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with seven days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $40.

Truex Cole Brookwell was born at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Ashley and Clinton Brookwell of Worland, Wyo.
