A night of great music for a great cause is being planned by the HOPE Agency on Wednesday, October 12 at the V.F.W.
Jalan Crossland, the Silver Tip String Band and Eric Kay will be performing a benefit concert to raise money for the HOPE Agency in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The HOPE Agency is a non-profit entity, which provides services to victims of domestic violence, teen dating violence, sexual assault and stalking in Hot Springs County.
Specifically, the agency can provide emergency shelter for victims and their children, accompany victims to the hospital or to court appearances and assist with stalking or protection orders.
They are available 24 hours and help 45-50 new clients and their children every year.
Advance tickets for the fundraising concert are $12 and are available at the HOPE Agency, Broadway Bygones, Story Teller and the V.F.W. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15.
The Agency will also be having their Women’s Gathering Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is for women only, and those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a friend.
