Republican party sees changes

At their regular meeting June 20, the Hot Springs County Republican Party appointed Josh Brown as the precinct committeeman for Precinct 1. As Party Chair Chuck Carver has resigned, Vice Chair Harold Hutson automatically became the new Chair. Mike Baker is the new Vice Chair.

The Party is still seeking someone to fill the position of committeewoman in Precinct 2, and is looking to make a decision on the position at their next meeting, July 18. Interested persons must be registered Republicans and reside in Precinct 2 to qualify. The dividing line for the Precincts in town is Ninth Street, with Precinct 2 including everything to the east.
