The 2016 Big Horn Basin Football Camp will be June 27, 28 and 29 at the Hot Springs County High School LeRoy Hayes Field. Registration will be 9-11:30 a.m. June 29.
The Big Horn Basin Football Camp is designed to improve individual techniques and football fundamentals.
Grades 5-12 will receive one-on-one instructions to improve individual position techniques. They will compete in 7-on-7 competitions. There will also be a strength clinic on lifting techniques and speed and agility training. The weight room will be available during designated times for workouts. Participants will meet college coaches who will help with the possibility of college recruitment. Participants will receive one pre-paid night of swimming at Tepee Pools. They will get to play miniature golf and go whitewater rafting at discounted rates. Campers will receive a camp t-shirt.
Students will be allowed to camp on-site in a designated area and will have adult supervision. Players camping will be counted several times throughout the night by camp staff.
Prices are $65 for grades 5-12 and $35 for grades K-4.
The Big Horn Basin Football Camp is the longest continuing football camp in Wyoming. This summer will mark the 26th year in Thermopolis. The summer football camp gives kids the opportunity to practice different techniques and learn new skills that can increase their athletic ability. Camp provides a chance for students to showcase talent to college coaches and make lifelong friends.
