School board approves staffing recommendations

The Hot Springs County School Board approved staffing recommendations at a special meeting on May 18.

The Board accepted the retirement notice from Sharon Cordingly as elementary teacher effective at the end of her 2015-16 teaching contract. They also accepted a resignation notice from Jenny Davis as Lights On Project and Program Coordinator effective Aug. 5, 2016.

The Board also approved the student contract with Wyoming Behavioral Institute for tutoring and/or onsite school services beginning April 26 and ending upon the patient’s discharge. Tutoring services are charged at a rate of $20 per hour. Onsite school services are charged at $75 per day.
