Wednesday, April 6

2:41 p.m. Request for assistance from Worland Police Department to perform a home check on a subject who is on probation. Drugs and other paraphernalia were found, and turned over to the county attorney.

7:32 p.m. Report of driving under the influence in the area of Hot Springs State Park. A deputy followed a suspect vehicle and observed it not making appropriate turns. The driver was contacted and failed several maneuvers. Nels Vicklund was arrested and charged with alleged driving under the influence, and cited by the Thermopolis Police Department for open container.

Friday, April 8

4:30 p.m. Report of two dogs at large at the landfill.

Saturday, April 9

7:36 p.m. Caller reported a scratch to his truck while it was parked on Road 5.

Sunday, April 10

3:19 p.m. REDDI report at Hot Springs State Park involving a Silverado extended cab believed to be occupied by people who were intoxicated. Deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

8:42 p.m. Request to assist Wyoming Highway Patrol on a warrant arrest.

Tuesday, April 5

8:32 a.m. Report of suspicious activity at a residence. Information was taken at the scene.

10:37 a.m. Report of a lost dog. Officer was unable to locate, but the animal was later found at home.

12:38 p.m. An EBT card was found. A new card was issued already, so the old card was destroyed.

7:37 p.m. Caller in the 300 block of Amoretti reported the back window of his Ford Bronco was broken out.

Wednesday, April 6

11:37 a.m. Caller from a work site reported he had left his lunch box behind and upon returning found someone took his prescription medication.

6:39 p.m. Report of a dog at large. A citizen captured the animal, which was impounded and later recovered by the owner after paying fees.

Thursday, April 7

8:49 a.m. Caller reported an unrestrained child in a vehicle. An officer later located the vehicle, which was stopped for speeding, and it was determined the child was in the seat and properly secured.

10:10 a.m. An officer, aware of a warrant on Andrew Wilson, stopped Wilson’s vehicle, contacted him and arrested him.

11:23 a.m. Officer responded to an accident. A vehicle was parked in front of another, and the front vehicle rolled backward and struck the other. The vehicles were separated and it was determined the accident caused no damage to either.

12:18 p.m. Report of a dog at Candy Jack Park. When the officer arrived, the dog was on the front porch of its owner’s home. With permission of the owner, the dog was secured.

7:16 p.m. Caller reported suspicions an ex removed something from the house. Suspect was contacted and denied the allegation.

Friday, April 8

10:48 a.m. Caller reported what they believed was a fraudulent advertisement.

3:40 p.m. Report of a dog at large. The caretaker was contacted and options were discussed, as the dog repeatedly gets out.

4:12 p.m. Report of an accident. Both parties determined there was no damage caused by the accident.

6:43 p.m. Report of a missing dog. The officer was unable to locate the animal, and there was no determination as to whether it was recovered.

6:55 p.m. Caller reported seeing four subjects in a lot smoking cigarettes. An officer determined the four were of legal age.

7:37 p.m. REDDI report at mile marker 134.5 on Highway 20. No contact was made with the vehicle.

Saturday, April 9

11:20 a.m. Report of a two-vehicle collision. On driver was attempting to park, and the bumper of the vehicle scraped another vehicle. Damage was under $1,000.

7:54 p.m. Caller reported a group of small children walking on Park Street. When an officer arrived, the kids were being loaded into a vehicle by their parents.

Sunday, April 10

3:51 a.m. Report of two visitors staying at a local motel who were fighting. The subjects were separated, and there were no signs of domestic battery. An officer was called to an incident involving the same subjects at 10:23 a.m. There was evidence Joshua Wyrick had struck a female subject. Wyrick was arrested and charged with domestic battery.

9:45 a.m. Report of a found credit card. The card was turned in, and the owner contacted.

10:45 p.m. Report of boys who were out late. An officer determined the boys were in violation of the town curfew, and they were issued citations. The curfew is 11 p.m.-6 a.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 12-6 a.m. Friday and Saturday for kids under 15 years old.

11 p.m. Report of a juvenile who left home. The child was found and returned home.

Monday, April 11

3:35 p.m. Caller reported having several items go missing from his property over time.

3:39 p.m. Report of someone breaking into a shop building. There did not appear to be anything missing, but extra patrol was requested.

4:06 p.m. Caller responded to an advertisement to purchase a vehicle, but the money was directed to a fraudulent account. The vehicle advertised is a 2014 Pleasure Way Lexor TS Class B van.

Circuit court

Joshua Hunt was found guilty of threatening to inflict by phone calls or other electronic or written communication, and stalking. Hunt was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspension and six months supervised probation. Fines and fees are $760.

Adam Smith was found guilty of driving under the influence, equal or greater than .08, and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 88 days suspension and one year unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $640.

Hoyt Marcus Bradshaw was born Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to April and Marc Bradshaw of Worland, Wyo.

He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Don and Brenda Rabun and Greg and Anna Bradshaw, all of Worland.

Ethan James Reynolds was born Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Hallie Harvey and Donny Reynolds of Thermopolis.

He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long.

Grandfather is Ken Harvey of Thermopolis.

Destry James Sharpe was born Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Amanda Workman and Derak Sharpe of Worland.

He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Jane and Roger Pomeroy of Montana, and Lorraine Sharpe of Cody, Wyo.
