Thursday, Feb. 4
10:07 a.m. Sheriff officials arrested Jackylin Wurtz, 47, for probation revocation.
10:16 a.m. Sheriff officials arrested Patrick Wurtz, 18, for probation revocation.
1:06 p.m. Sheriff officials arrested Robert Richter, 35, for probation revocation.
6:10 p.m. A report of several vehicles being damaged from a large rock slide in the Wind River Canyon.
Friday, Feb. 5
9:49 a.m. A resident of Hot Springs County had a warrant for an alleged traffic citation that occurred in Dec. 2015 in El Paso, Texas. The resident was not in the area and was a victim of mistaken identity. The deputy made contact with the El Paso court system and cleared up the situation.
6:30 p.m. A deputy provided a civil standby for custodial exchange between two parents.

Tuesday, Feb. 2
1:46 p.m. Request for a welfare check from a mother who said she had not heard from her daughter and grandson since September of last year. The officer visited the home of the daughter, but no one was home.
2:37 p.m. A resident called and complained about their neighbor blowing snow onto their home in the 800 block of Amoretti. The responding officer talked with the snow blower operator and they agreed to change the direction of the ejecting snow.
Thursday, Feb. 4
7:42 a.m. Report of a broken gas meter in the 100 block of Warren. There were no vehicle tracks or any sign of what caused the damage. The gas company was notified and fixed the meter.
9:38 a.m. Report of smoke emanating from a dumpster in the alleyway of the 500 block of South Sixth. The responding officer was unable to locate the smoking dumpster.
Friday, Feb. 5
8:31 a.m. A resident in the 100 block of East Fremont found a deceased deer lying against their home. The resident asked for law enforcement officials to remove the body.
4:21 p.m. Report of a driver in the area of Fifth and Amoretti Street driving erratically. The responding officer located the driver who reported they were not used to driving a standard transmission.
8:32 p.m. Request for emergency relief funds was made by an individual in the 600 block of South Sixth. A local hotel allowed the person to spend the night for free so the fund were not needed.
Saturday, Feb. 6
7:31 p.m. Report of a female screaming at the fairgrounds. The responding officer was unable to locate anyone screaming.
Sunday, Feb. 7
10:37 a.m. Female requested an officer to remove a male subject from her apartment. The male who was living with the female had plane tickets to return home and was currently moving out of the apartment. The female stayed at another residence until the male was gone.
9:19 p.m. Report of a stolen iPod in the 100 block of Mountain View. The reporting party called back and had found their iPod in their car.
Monday, Feb. 8
9:35 a.m. A beige Buick with no tags in the 100 block of East Warren was tagged to be towed in 24 hours by police officials.
11:50 a.m. Report of a female entering the residence of her former boyfriend and going through his wallet and smart phone. She deleted several pictures and text messages to and from his current girlfriend. The suspect had fled across state lines by the time officers received the complaint. The case is currently at the county attorney for further action.
4:29 p.m. A notice of trespass was served to a male subject to remain off of school grounds.
Birth
Lizzy Ann Harvey was born Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Shailee and Bradyn Harvey of Thermopolis.
She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Bob and Lori Michaels of Worland and Scott and Lesli Harvey of Thermopolis.
