Vesper Chapter hosts Grand Chapter officers

Vesper Chapter No. 19, O.E.S., hosted the official visit of the Grand Chapter officers Saturday, Feb., 5.

Local Worthy Matron Susan Ray and Worthy Patron Dennis Wilson welcomed Worthy Grand Matron Janel Couture, Worthy Grand Patron Terry Wickhorst and other Grand Chapter officers, their escorts and other members from around the state. Special features of the visit included the Worthy Grand Matron presenting tokens of appreciation to past and present leaders of youth organizations and a tribute to the chapter’s 50 plus year members. The Worthy Grand Matron and Patron were presented with monetary gifts for their projects this year – Feed Wyoming and Scottish Rite Wyoming Childhood Language Centers.

The traditional potato and dessert bars followed the meeting. Wyoming’s Grand Chapter session will be held in Casper in August.
