Edith 'Edie' Jensen

Edith Ann "Edie" Jensen, 59, died at her home in Thermopolis, Wyo., on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, after a long illness.

Edith was born March 6, 1956, in Worland, Wyo., the daughter of John William "Jack" Gilmore and Mildred Alice (Lowe).

She traveled some when young, spending school in Lander, Wyo., and graduating high school in Basin, Wyo. She later went on to get a double associates degree; one in elementary education and one in social sciences.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She made friends everywhere she went. She is loved and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her sons, Ian (Lisa) Williams of Thermopolis and Rusty Jensen of Helena, Mont.; daughter, Melody White of Thermopolis; sister, Tamara (Gary) Jackson of Laneville, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Wally and John Gilmore

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Mortimore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
