USPS holiday shipping dates released

With the Christmas just around the corner the United States Postal Service (USPS) has posted their holiday shipping deadline dates for people who want their packages delivered by Thursday, Dec. 24

Shipping cut-off dates differ for shipping inside the U.S., to overseas military and diplomatic post offices and international addresses.

To ensure timely delivery of cards, letters and packages with the United States by Dec. 24, the USPS recommends customers ship their items by the following dates: Dec. 15 for Standard Post, Dec. 19 for First-Class Mail, Dec. 21 for Priority Mail and Dec. 23 for Priority Express Mail.

Customers mailing internationally are advised to follow all customs guidelines. A complete list of specific deadlines based on locations and services is available at http://www.usps.com/holiday.
