Saturday, November 21, 2015 is International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. Suicide loss survivors around the world gather to share stories, gain insight and find comfort in the knowledge that they are not alone.
Survivor Day events will be held across the state of Wyoming, with the closest to Thermopolis being held in Riverton. The day’s program will include the screening of a new AFSP-produced documentary, “Family Journeys” that traces the ripple effect of a suicide through families and communities and explores the challenges we face as we cope and heal. Other events in Wyoming will be held in Cheyenne, Gillette, Jackson and Sheridan.
