Scouts' food drive planned Nov. 14

Local scout troops will be holding a community food drive on Saturday, Nov. 14 to benefit the Community Food Bank and the Christmas Basket program.

Place your food donations in a bag by your front door for pick up. Empty bags will not be distributed this year.

They are asking for donations of nonperishable food items so the scouts and other volunteers may pick them up between 8 a.m. and noon.

If your donation is not picked up or if you will be out of town that day, you may leave your bag in the entry at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 642 Arapahoe, or call 864-3629 to make arrangements for the food to be picked up another day.

Please, no perishable or home canned products.

The food collected will be distributed to local families in need.
